Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd. sponsors scholarship for Five IIT Madras Students
Chennai, 13th November 2017: Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) is sponsoring a scholarship for five economically disadvantaged students of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Under the companys CSR programme, it is donating Rs. 3 lakh per year per student for five students for their entire four years of studies, aggregating to Rs. 60 lakh.
The Alumni Office of IIT Madras has the initiative to support the education of economically weaker students through scholarships. The objective was to provide merit-cum-means based scholarships to eligible undergraduate students.
