Pfizer Limited has been informed by its Parent Company Pfizer Inc., USA, that Pfizer Inc., USA and GlaxoSmithKline plc have entered into an agreement to create a premier global consumer healthcare company. A copy of press release dated December 19, 2018 issued by Pfizer Inc.,USA in this respect is attached herewith for reference.
Pfizer Limited has also been informed by Pfizer Inc. USA that the portfolio of this Joint Venture Company will not include the brands Corex, Gelusil and Becosules. These brands will continue to be marketed by Pfizer Limited in India
