Eastern Gases: Announcement Under Regulation 30 (LODR)-Intimation For Extension Of Time In Completion Of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process ('CIRP') Of Eastern Gases Limited

In terms of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015 and this is further to our intimation regarding the application filed by ICICI Bank for initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) for Eastern Gases Limited under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC 2016) before National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata order dated 08.11.2017 and appointment of Mr. Kuldeep Verma as an Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) for carrying out the CIRP of the company order dated 08.11.2017. As per decision taken in the first meeting of the committee of Creditors held on 29.11.2017, Mr. Kuldeep Verma continued as Resolution Professional (RP) for Eastern Gases Limited.

In terms of the majority decision taken in the meeting of the committee of Creditors an application was filed by Mr. Kuldeep Verma, Resolution Professional seeking extension of time for a period of 90 days for completion of resolution process. The Honble NCLT, Kolkata vide order dated 12.06.2018 has allowed the same and grant extension of 90 days for completion of CIRP.
