Delta Corp Ltd has informed BSE that based on the news article published in todays edition, i.e April 01, 2016, of Herald in Goa, the Company informed that the Government of Goa has granted permission to Delta Pleasure Cruise Company Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta to operate their vessel 'M V ROYALE FLOTEL' in Mandovi River till an alternate feasible site is finalized by the Government or till March 31, 2017 whichever is earlier.
Further, the Company has informd that the Government has granted further extension to the offshore casino licenses to relocate their offshore casinos from Mandovi River for a further period till an alternate feasible site is finalized by the Government or till March 31, 2017 whichever is earlier.
With this, Delta will strengthen its presence thereby reinforcing its leadership position in the Indian gaming and entertainment space.
Further, the Company would again intimate the Stock Exchange once an official communication has been issued by the Government of Goa in this regards.
