REC: Change in Composition of the Board of Directors

Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to Order dated October 16, 2015 issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India, Shri S. K. Gupta, Executive Director, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), has been appointed as Director (Technical) on the Board of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited for a period of five years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Further, in pursuance of the said Order, Shri S. K. Gupta, has assumed charge of the post of Director (Technical) of REC with effect from October 16, 2015.
