Shanti Inorganics, established in Ahmedabad in 1998 by Manoj J. Patel, is a manufacturer and trader of sulphur-based inorganic chemicals that has progressively strengthened its manufacturing base and expanded its portfolio from sodium bisulphite into ammonium bisulphite solution, sodium bisulphite in powder and solution forms, sodium metabisulphite, and sodium sulphite powder/anhydrous. Its core business is supplying these compounds as preservatives, reducing agents, oxygen scavengers and process intermediates to diverse industrial applications, including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, oil drilling, pulp and paper, water treatment, agrochemicals, petrochemicals, cosmetics, paints, polymers, ceramics, boiler operations and mining. The company’s key strengths are its specialised bisulphite chemistry, substantial domestic bisulphite capacity, automated production facilities at Vatva and Bavla in Ahmedabad, and quality and food-safety credentials including ISO 9001:2015, NSF, HACCP, Kosher and Halal certifications. Rather than serving a few named end customers, Shanti works through a diversified domestic and export customer base across more than 15 countries, including markets in the UAE, Kuwait, Malaysia, Venezuela and North America. Its operational approach emphasises consistent quality, regulatory-suitable grades and reliable, application-specific supply, positioning it to help industrial clients manage process efficiency, preservation, oxygen control and compliance needs across demanding end-use sectors.
