Farm Peace, incorporated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in October 2021, is an integrated contract-farming company that has built its operations around processed-grade potato cultivation and procurement rather than retail agriculture; its core activity is coordinating the production and supply of varieties such as Santana, Frysona, Innovator, Lady Rosetta and Chipsona for food processors making French fries, chips and other value-added potato products. Operating under the Farm Peace brand, it works with farmers across Gujarat’s Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mehsana and Banaskantha districts through a 100% buy-back model: the company supplies certified seed and provides agronomic and technical support across seed selection, soil preparation, irrigation, fertiliser and pest management, harvesting and post-harvest handling, then purchases the contracted crop at pre-agreed quality parameters and prices. Its expertise lies in matching crop variety and cultivation practices to the exact processing requirements of quick-service restaurant, frozen-food, snack-manufacturing and other potato-processing customers, while its use of modern practices such as drip irrigation is intended to improve yield and manage water-related risks. The model’s distinguishing feature is the combination of end-to-end farmer support and assured offtake, designed to give growers more predictable demand and price visibility while providing processors with traceable, consistent, processing-suitable potato supply; accordingly, Farm Peace emphasizes collaborative field engagement, crop-quality management and supply-chain reliability in addressing seasonal volatility and fragmented farm production.
