Manika Plastech, incorporated in April 1996 as Manika Moulds and later renamed, is a design-led manufacturer of rigid polymer packaging that has evolved from precision moulding into a multi-product, multi-location supplier of battery casings, plastic pails and thinwall containers, alongside automotive painting services. Its core business is end-to-end polymer-packaging solutions—from in-house design and mould development through injection moulding, heat sealing, labelling/printing, quality assurance and delivery—serving energy storage, paints and chemicals, food and dairy, agrochemicals, construction chemicals and automotive applications. The portfolio includes high-performance battery casings engineered to JIS and DIN standards, pails for paints, lubricants and industrial chemicals, and food-grade thinwall containers for dairy and edible products, supported by seven manufacturing facilities (Dehradun, Hosur, Panipat, Una and Dadra) and one painting facility in Hosur with a combined capacity of about 29,200 metric tonnes per annum. A distinguishing strength is its long operating history, registered product designs and a diversified customer base of 168–242 clients across 24 states, including Livguard Energy Technologies, Luminous Power Technologies, Genus Innovation, Kansai Nerolac Paints, JSW Paints, Grasim Industries, Vadilal Industries and TVS Motor Company, with its top 20 customers maintaining relationships averaging over 10 years. Manika Plastech’s engagement approach emphasizes customized, specification-driven packaging and reliable supply, helping industrial and consumer-goods customers address product-protection, regulatory and handling requirements while scaling capacity to meet demand across multiple end-use sectors.
