SS Retail, incorporated in June 2016 as SS Communication & Services and renamed in 2025, is a multi-brand mobile-phone and consumer-electronics retailer that has evolved from its core “SS Mobile” format into a broader, multi-brand and multi-format network focused on Tier II, Tier III and smaller Indian cities. The company also provides EMI options, mobile protection plans, anti-theft software, recharges and exchange services, combining product sales with after-sales and affordability-led support. Its operating expertise lies in managing a scalable mix of company-owned and franchisee-operated stores—COCO, COFO and FOFO—while using a capital-light, regionally focused model to extend organized electronics retail beyond major metros. Important customers are individual consumers, small businesses and institutional buyers across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat, served through brands and acquired platforms including Gizmore and Olineo. SS Retail’s engagement approach emphasizes accessible pricing, product choice, exchange and financing convenience, and local-market service, helping customers navigate rapid device cycles, affordability constraints, repair/upgrade needs and limited organized retail availability in smaller cities.
