Vivekanand Cotspin, established as Vivekanand Cotspin LLP in July 2015 and later converted into a private and then public company, is a Gujarat-based integrated cotton processor that has developed from basic ginning and yarn production into a broader cotton-value-chain business including trading and export activity. Its core operations comprise ginning raw kapas into cotton bales, cotton seed and related by-products, spinning bales into carded and combed compact cotton yarn in counts ranging from Ne 16 to Ne 40, and trading cotton bales and yarn to meet customer requirements. The company also supplies comber noil for applications such as currency paper, surgical products and open-end spinning, and imports premium cotton yarn for domestic buyers. Its expertise lies in integrated ginning and spinning at its Rangpurda, Kadi facility near major cotton-growing regions, with installed capacities of about 8,000 tonnes of cotton bales and 4,550 tonnes of yarn annually, enabling closer control over fibre quality, processing and consistency. Vivekanand serves textile mills, fabric manufacturers, brokers, business houses and international buyers, with export markets including Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and South Africa. Its engagement approach emphasizes dependable, specification-based supply and flexibility between manufactured and traded products, helping customers manage cotton-quality variation, seasonal procurement and changing yarn requirements while maintaining an integrated and resource-efficient operating model.
