Himalayan Solar, incorporated in September 2015 in Haryana and converted into a public company in 2024, has developed from a solar-product and water-pumping supplier into an integrated turnkey renewable-energy solutions provider. Its core business is the design, manufacture or OEM-based production, supply, installation and commissioning of solar water-pumping systems, complemented by solar inverter-charging systems, rooftop solar power systems, photovoltaic modules, cells, batteries, solar street lights and home-lighting products. The company’s expertise lies in project design, system integration, government-scheme execution, field installation and after-sales support; it has implemented more than 85,000 HP of solar water-pumping systems under government projects across India. Its products are marketed under the Himalayan Solar brand, while its principal customers are central and state government departments, public-sector bodies, farmers and agricultural users, commercial and institutional customers and EPC partners, with the company empanelled as a solar partner for multiple state departments. Himalayan Solar’s distinctive strength is its end-to-end delivery model, combining equipment, installation and commissioning rather than supplying components alone, helping customers address agricultural irrigation, rural electrification, energy-access and diesel-replacement needs. Its client-engagement approach is project-led and service-oriented, involving coordination with government agencies and local beneficiaries, application-specific system design, installation support and maintenance intended to improve reliability and long-term usability in varied field conditions.
