Ajwa Projects traces its origins to 1981 as M.K. Enterprise, a Surat-based fabrication and support-services firm, and was formally incorporated as Ajwa Projects Private Limited in 2011 before becoming a public limited company in 2025; it has evolved from basic fabrication into integrated industrial engineering and construction execution. Its core business is converting engineering designs into functioning industrial assets through structural and equipment fabrication, on-site erection, piping, pressure-equipment installation, civil construction, prefabricated structures and maintenance services. Its primary segments include steel structures, girders, heavy modules, platforms and crane girders; pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, tanks, chimneys, ducts, ladles and blast-furnace components; process and utility piping; machinery foundations, factory buildings, silos and other civil works; and maintenance, shutdown, non-destructive testing, blasting, painting and mechanical services. Its expertise lies in machining, welding, heavy-structure handling, module assembly, pressure-equipment work, site erection, project integration and post-completion support, executed from its Ichchapore, Surat workshop and at client sites. A distinctive strength is its workshop-to-site execution model, which combines controlled fabrication with installation, testing, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance, supported by ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification and a workforce exceeding 1,600 people. Its customers are primarily private industrial and infrastructure clients, including large EPC contractors and companies in oil and gas, refining, power, steel, cement and public infrastructure; disclosed project work includes Reliance Industries, ONGC, Essar Oil, Vedanta, Hindalco, ATUL and L&T-led assignments, alongside contributions to projects such as the Chenab Rail Bridge, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link and Sardar Sarovar Dam. Ajwa engages clients through tender-based and project-specific execution, close coordination with EPC partners, quality and safety systems, and ongoing maintenance support, addressing challenges of complex specifications, heavy lifting, schedule pressure, safety and the need to keep high-risk industrial assets operational.
